Demolition Detonator Electric L2A2
Description
The L2A2 is in service with the UK MOD and is supplied in a full military pack. The L2A2 comprises an aluminium tube with an output charge of PETN initiated with a primary charge of Aluminium / Lead Styphnate / Lead Azide. The electric ignition is by means of an E Type fuzehead fitted with a silicone rubber plug sleeve assembly. The lead wires are twisted and coiled to provide a RF resistant compact product. Five detonators are packed in a black conducting plastic rigid wallet ideal for carrying in field operations. The wallet has tactile marking. Forty wallets are packed in an H83 ammunition container.
